Writing Services by Farsight Creative

Farsight is on hand to complete a number of different kinds of writing assignments for you including blog posts, articles, news stories or essays. Hiring Farsight will save you the time and hassle of researching and producing material so you can focus on what you do best.

If you want to have any kind of presence on the internet, content is key. Content that relates to what you do and what you're about is an important way of establishing yourself as an authority. Gaining this status takes time and effort, but in the end will mean you are the go-to person when your specialist subject comes up in the news or when someone needs help.

Blogs
Blog posts are a way of keeping your customers or clients up to date with what you're doing but in a more detailed way than, say, Facebook or Twitter. It is also a useful way of connecting with people outside of your normal networks.

Newsletters
Monthly newsletters are also a good way of promoting your business or organisation, and are more targeted because they are sent out to individuals who have requested it. They don't have to cost that much to produce either: while printing and mailing out physical copies of the newsletter can be expensive, services like Mailchimp offer a free basic package that helps you send decent e-newsletters simply and easily on a regular basis. Obviously you need to fill it with articles, which need to be relevant and well-written, designed to engage the reader and help build a rapport.

Website articles
Business websites are an important shop window to attract new and existing customers, but they also have to be regularly maintained and updated. One way of doing this is by adding new articles or news updates. Similar in scope and impact to blog posts, the difference is that they are intrinsically part of your website (rather than being on another site, such as Blogger).

Infographic: Applying house price inflation to grocery prices (based on Shelter report)

We all know house prices have risen sharply over the last few decades, but what would happen if food costs rose at the same rate? Homelessness charity Shelter published a report last year looking into this and the facts are astounding. A similar inflation rate to house prices would result in us paying £4.36 for a loaf of bread and £53.18 for a leg of lamb.

Farsight Creative produced an infographic that presents this information:
